The Audi quattro Cup golf tournament series was established in 1991 in Germany where 51 tournaments were hosted by German Audi dealers. In 2009, Audi dealers from 47 different countries worldwide hosted a total of 730 tournaments and over 82.000 amateur golfers. Now in 2010 it celebrates its 20th anniversary and holds the title of the biggest and most successful amateur series in the world.
Domestically, the Audi quattro Cup enters its eighteenth year with 12 regional qualifying events scheduled around the country. Participation is by invitation only and the format is greensomes stableford.
